DR Power Equipment Wood Chippers Learn more at www.drpower.com Each machine is driven by a tough and durable drive belt that delivers maximum power from the engine to the flywheel. The small chipper uses a super strong Kevlar reinforced drive belt. And the 2 larger machines use a cogged belt which prevents slipping and helps cool the belt as it travels 3800 feet per minute. That’s over 43 miles per hour. The result is a belt you won’t need to change as frequently. Now the belt powers this heavy duty steel flywheel. Check out these industrial grade bearings! Now, just to make a point, take a look at our competitor’s flywheel. As you can see, ours is more than 3 times as thick. What a huge difference! DR’s flywheel is the result of over 100 computer models and more than 50 different prototypes to arrive at the ideal performance . The flywheel, in combination with the chipper knife, is the heart of the DR Rapid-Feed chipper. Over 50 knife designs were developed to determine the ideal size, shape and configuration. Made of high grade D-2 Tool Steel, our knife is machined from the same material used in commercial line-crew chipper knives. Once again, here’s the competitor’s standard steel knife. Which do you think will cut better? The knife is inset into the flywheel. This relief ensures that the leading edge of the chipper knife hits the material being chipped first — for faster, cleaner chipping. In fact, it’s so fast that it slices material at an amazing 40 times per

Working Wood 1: The Artisan Course with Paul Sellers: Woodworking Essentials 2 (1hr 27min DVD) teaches you the crucial elements to successful joinery, as well as the essential tools and techniques. In this 1hr 27min DVD, Paul shows you how to make The Three Joints™ — the joints you will need throughout your woodworking life — and demonstrates their application in every area of fine woodworking. Few woodworkers explore the creative sphere of hand tool joinery, yet many strive to create the superlative designs this aspect of woodworking allows. Paul Sellers has successfully trained thousands of woodworkers through a simple step-by-step curriculum developed to restore the art of hand-cut joinery for woodworkers of any background and all skill levels. Paul explores the historical context of joinery, showing its use in historic buildings, including Penrhyn Castle’s internal structure and furniture, as well as immigrant ships that journeyed to the USA. Woodworking Essentials 2 introduces steps that guarantee perfect joints every time — joints that last for centuries. Mastering the housing dado, dovetail, and mortise and tenon joints begins by understanding the function and use of ten basic hand tools. Paul shows you how to use them to their fullest potential and demonstrates the construction of each joint in exactly the same way he teaches his students and apprentices. The art of joint making enables woodworkers to expand their work, yet many woodworkers feel intimidated by
