Here is my scratch built flight simulator control/instrument panel in action with LED’s glowing. Approximately 300 hours and four months of labor were involved. Everything scratch built was; knobs, handles, trim wheel, structure, throttle quadrant, labels and decals – all built from hardwood, plywood, particle board which was cut, shaped, sanded, painted and then epoxied to protect it from constant usage. The only things not scratch built, were (naturally); the light emitting diodes, switches and of course the two control boards from www.desktopaviator.com. The tools used were; basic hand tools, my trusty drill and scroll saw. The whole thing works like a finely oiled machine. Thanks for watching!
