Striking members of Teamsters Local 743 talk about their employer, SK Hand Tools, stripping workers of their health insurance coverage without notice. UPDATE Nov. 4, 2009: SK Hand Tool workers end strike, get health insurance www.suntimes.com Teamsters Local Union 743, which represents about 70 workers at the company, said members voted by a three-to-one margin to accept a contract offer and return to work. “Because we are Teamsters and willing to fight, we’re now the only employees at SK with health insurance. This is something that all Americans should have,” stated Emilio Lunar, SK steward and strike leader.

Thermaltake Armor Case Gets a Coat of Armour (Progress Update) Part 3

Part 3 Armor case is finally painted. It was a lot of work, but worth it in the long run. I used Duplicolor automotive paint found at most automotive parts stores. Had some problems in the beginning, but in the end successful. Here’s what I did to achieve the final outcome. 1. sandblast chassis,panels,mobo tray and all accessories 2. self etching prime (2 coats) 3. ground coat – for the anodized red(2 coats) 4. color (2 coats) 5. wet sand (what I could) w/1000 & 1500 grit 6. more color (1-2 coats) 7. light wet sand 1500 grit 8. clear coat (2-3 coats) Not all these steps are required, but I’m a anal perfectionist! lazyman
