Compound mitre saw: why do you need this type of mitre saw rather than just the standard type of mitre saw? A very good reason comes to mind why a compound mitre saw is so much better than the standard type of mitre saw. “Joe” use to have just a standard mitre saw then something happened over the years, that made “joe” need to get a compound mitre saw. If “joe” didn’t use a compound mitre saw for most of his projects now, he would be up the creek without a paddle….literally. What do I mean by that?……….
