DR Power Equipment Wood Chippers, DR versus the Competition Learn more at www.drpower.com We’ve set up a demonstration for you to compare our DR with an ordinary, department store chipper/shredder. Gentlemen, start chipping…! As you can see, Brand X has to stop, cut side branches off and feed each branch in, while the DR easily eats up the wood at an incredible rate of speed! DR shreds the competition! Whether you’re chipping soft wood, hard wood, newly cut or old and dry, the DR will make short work of it. And all you’ll be left with are wood chips that make for an attractive mulch. Join us on Facebook: www.facebook.com

DR Power Equipment Wood Chippers Learn more at www.drpower.com Each machine is driven by a tough and durable drive belt that delivers maximum power from the engine to the flywheel. The small chipper uses a super strong Kevlar reinforced drive belt. And the 2 larger machines use a cogged belt which prevents slipping and helps cool the belt as it travels 3800 feet per minute. That’s over 43 miles per hour. The result is a belt you won’t need to change as frequently. Now the belt powers this heavy duty steel flywheel. Check out these industrial grade bearings! Now, just to make a point, take a look at our competitor’s flywheel. As you can see, ours is more than 3 times as thick. What a huge difference! DR’s flywheel is the result of over 100 computer models and more than 50 different prototypes to arrive at the ideal performance . The flywheel, in combination with the chipper knife, is the heart of the DR Rapid-Feed chipper. Over 50 knife designs were developed to determine the ideal size, shape and configuration. Made of high grade D-2 Tool Steel, our knife is machined from the same material used in commercial line-crew chipper knives. Once again, here’s the competitor’s standard steel knife. Which do you think will cut better? The knife is inset into the flywheel. This relief ensures that the leading edge of the chipper knife hits the material being chipped first — for faster, cleaner chipping. In fact, it’s so fast that it slices material at an amazing 40 times per …

Just recently… The first Philippine solar photovoltaic summit was held in Manila. The summit brought together government and private enterprises… Engaged in generating electrical power directly from the sun. In a previous episode.. We featured a local school that already harnesses the power of the hot sun… To run its climate control system. While the technology used was developed by a Korean company… It has demonstrated how the processes and equipment… Can also be adapted and customized by Filipino firms. Though not many people know it… It has come to light that the Philippines is emerging as a leading center for manufacturing solar power equipment. The optional Spreader Attachment goes on without tools in less than 5 minutes. This powered spreader is operated from the towing vehicle and broadcasts up to 125 pounds of seed, powdered lime or fertilizer from as wide as 12 feet to as narrow as four feet. We also offer an optional Culti-Packer Attachment which dramatically increases germination rates by improving the seed to soil contact. Designed specifically for the DR Roto Hog, this agricultural-style Culti-Packer offers some dramatic improvements over cumbersome cast-iron units. Using the the Powered Depth Control, you can easily apply the full weight of the machine — 270 pounds — to the Culti-Packer’s nylon rollers. These rollers are extremely rugged, yet the Cultipacker Attachment is lightweight and easy to move, mount, and store. And finally, there’s our Hiller/Furrower Attachment The Hiller Attachment slides on in place of the tilling tines. With this attachment you can build perfect size raised beds after you’ve tilled. As the uniquely shaped discs spin, they lift and push the soil into a large center mound. In one pass you’ll have a raised bed that’s just right for planting a lush healthy garden

Learn more about DR Roto-Tillers at our website: www.drpower.com Hi, I’m Tom Parent for DR Power Equipment. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to watch the first chapter of this DVD. If so, you know the many home gardening and landscaping uses of the DR Roto-Hog Power Tiller. What we’d like to focus on in this chapter is the preparation and planting of food plots for wildlife management. We’ve asked our own Bradley Carleton to tell you more about food plots and how the DR Tiller is specially suited to create them. Bradley, a veteran Customer Service Representative at DR Power Equipment, is also a professional outdoor guide and an expert on many conservation and wildlife management issues. Thanks Tom. This food plot looks terrific. As you know, there’s a growing interest in managing food-plots specifically for wildlife. What’s driving this interest are government regulations aimed at stopping the spread of certain wildlife diseases, particularly chronic wasting disease in our deer populations. More and more it’s becoming illegal to feed wildlife because this often brings many animals together to feed in a very small area, sometimes no bigger than a dining room table. In situations like these disease can spread, decimating wildlife. Food plots work because they cover a wider area, animals are less likely to mingle and disease is less likely to spread. So, that’s why outdoors men are looking for better ways to till, plant and grow food-plots. Right. And today, most of the …
