Just a brief video on most of my outdoor stuff and tools/supplies I’ve accumulated over the last 3 years. My neighbors refer to the tractor as an excellent bug defogger. Since I didn’t have as much time to go into detail as I wanted to about all the power equipment, here it is.(it’s an overview of what my mowers have cost, purchase and repairs) 1. John Deere 14SB REPAIRS: Wheel gear and bolt, spark plug, add oil Investment: $33 2. Lawn Boy M21BMR Repairs: Spark plug, blade, new oil tank valve and hose Investment: $40 3. Honda HR214 Repairs: Cover gasket, spark plug Investment: $10(but it doesn’t work yet) 4. Murray 4.5 Repairs: Spark plug, Oil change and air filter gasket Investment: $10 5. Honda HT3813 Repairs: 2 oil changes, spark plugs, gauge set Investment: $340 Any questions on how to’s, vids of stuff running, or more vac vids let me know. Propane Demo Draws Interested Producers From CHS C Magazine November/December 2010 Interested producers gathered at the Sam Peterson farm in Ellendale, Minn., in August to watch propane-powered commercial lawn mowers in action. The “Go green, get green” event emphasized propane’s clean-burning properties and provided an opportunity to save up to $2500 on propane equipment. According to the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC), propane mowers can lower fuel costs by up to 20 percent and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 48 percent, compared with gasoline engines. The demo featured mowers by Ferris Industries and Scag Power Equipment. CHS partnered with Central Valley Cooperative, Owatonna, Minn., to present the program, sponsored by PERC and the Minnesota Propane Association.
