www.gopherforum.com – Instead of distributing 5000 lawn care flyers at once, how about this scenario. You distribute 500 lawn care flyers to a concentrated area once a week for 10 weeks. Each of the 10 lawn care flyers is slightly different but they all have your name and number. Your fewer prospects see your lawn care marketing material 10 times and remember you and call you as you build credibility. Your response rate is gonna way out-perform the first scenario. And your cost is almost identical. Not to mention how much more efficient you will be if you are mowing all your yards in a 5 mile radius on the same day (instead of spending 20 minutes driving from one stop to the next.) I say give your lawn care marketing a real effort and tweak what doesn’t work until it does work. What about with your lawn care website? Do you find yourself complaining no one seems to find it and no one calls you because of it? To save the leg work of going out and walking door to door as you distribute your lawn care flyers, you could also try improving the effectiveness of your lawn care website by including your town and zip codes into your website description, title, and blog. Small Engine Repair: How to Change the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on a Lawn & Garden Tractor

**Always follow the instructions in your repair manual when doing repair or maintenance work on Outdoor Power Equipment. Manuals can be found at the manufacturers website.** The subject of this video is how to change the engine oil and oil filter on a Kohler V-Twin Engine found on a Craftsman GT5000 Garden Tractor. The engine oil capacity is 1.7 – 1.9 quarts, and Kohler recommends using a multi viscosity, detergent type motor oil with a API SG rating. The Kohler OEM Oil Filter part number is 12 050 01. The engine should be cleaned and brought to operating temperature before the oil and filter is changed. If the engine can’t be cleaned, than at least clean the area of the engine involved in the oil change to prevent any dirt from entering the engine. Bringing the engine to operating temperature will help the used oil flow better and any impurities in the engine are more likely to flow out with hot engine oil. After the engine is cleaned and brought to operating temperature, than the next step is to find the oil drain plug, remove it, and let the old engine oil drain out of the engine. After all the engine oil has drained out of the engine, reinstall the drain plug. With the oil drained and the drain plug reinstalled, than find the oil filter and remove it. Not all engines found on lawn and garden tractors have a oil filter, so this step can be skipped if your engine doesn’t have a oil filter. After the oil filter is removed, than clean the oil filter adapter. Apply a light …

Learn more about the DR Leaf & Lawn Vacuum at www.drpower.com Tom: “After debris is vacuumed and shredded it’s deposited inside our Hardshell Collector which is made of super-strong extruded PVC. This material stands up to any kind of weather, and will never fade, crack or tear. In fact, with its Lifetime Warranty, should the Hardshell Collector fail in any way, DR will replace it free of charge for as long as you own your DR Leaf & Lawn Vacuum. Some lawn vacuums use a fabric bag for collecting leaves. These bags can tear when they catch on tree branches or shrubbery. And over time the fabric tends to mildew, clog, or even rot. In fact, our staff tested fabric bags for dozens of hours with very poor results. We found that fabric can’t hold up to the rigors of time and weather.”

Learn more about the DR Leaf & Lawn Vacuum at www.drpower.com The DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum is the best performing lawn vacuum on the market and is available in three different models. At the top of the line is the Pro-XL . This machine holds a whopping 306-gallons of mulched leaves which is the equivalent of 90, 33-gallon bags of whole leaves. No other lawn vacuum in the industry comes close to this capacity! A superior design demands a superior engine, so we’ve partnered with Subaru to offer you the best engine we’ve ever tested. This commercial grade engine uses unique overhead cam automotive engine technology, making it the quietest, most reliable air cooled engine available today. It’s so durable, we offer a 3 year warranty in both commercial and residential use. In addition, the PRO-XL also includes a built-in chipper. Chip branches up to 2″ thick and turn them into useful woodchip mulch. Our Pro model features the same 306-gallon capacity as the XL but with a smaller engine. Like our Pro-XL model, the Pro features a built-in chipper to quickly handle branches and prunings up to 2″ thick. The Premier Model holds 245 gallons of material, has a smaller engine, and does not include a chipper. Depending on your leaf coverage, this may be all the machine you need. But make no mistake, the Premier performs equally as well as our larger models.
