Super-Line system is a network that promotes the extraction of reusable parts from discarded cars for recycling. Until 1988, used car parts were loosely managed by auto salvage yards. However in 1988, a system concept was launched that targeted the formation of a nationwide computer database for used car part companies based on the concept of establishing a shared inventory for those used car parts. And system operations were started the following year in November 1989. Super line system functions with an excellent balance between productive human resource training and a computer system that was designed with pursuit of usage ease. Today the Super line system handles transactions for over 1.7 million parts per year and has expanded to include 270 partner companies. In order to provide customers with parts of the highest quality, a word that does not normally go hand in hand with used car parts, SPN conducts through quality control based on world class technology and is thereby able to reliably recycle used car parts. Reusable parts are carefully selected from discarded vehicles. A chart is prepared and then components such as the door and the engine are removed in the factory. If the engine is to be reused a strict performance check is first conducted including areas such as the compression ratio.
