I bought this as an alternative to saddlebags that would be much more expensive. I works very well and looks quite good on my motorcycle. I has modest capacity, but more than enough for my license, registration, two pairs of gloves, sunglasses, wallet, cell phone, a reflective vest, a helmet lock and more stuff. You could easily fit a water bottle, maps etc. As you would expect, when on the bike it makes it a little harder to mount, because you have to throw your leg over it.

This Tail Bag is great! it is easy to install, and the material is very sturdy and nice. The interior is PVC material which means it keep the things inside cool/warm(how well does it work I don’t know, but it is nice to know they keep materiel in mind)
the size is perfect, it can fit your Chinese foods to go! lol
I have a Honda Rebel so as you know I don’t have a huge bike, but it fits well without jamming my seat. To take it off is very easy too, just use the buckle and it’s off, no untied, no zipper!

I have a kawasaki ninja. This bag is the perfect size for a sport bike. The straps work well and the bag seems secure. It has a pocket that has a rain cover for the whole bag which is nice. So far I really like this bag and would suggest it to anyone looking for a tail bag.

I added the tail and side bags for my Star XVS 650 Custom, and they’ve come in handy on many trips. For my bike, I placed the mounting straps under the passenger/pillion seat. First remove the single nut holding the passenger seat in place and then slide it out. They you can connect the straps together, and place the seat back.
