It’s hard to tell from the photos but these in-line switches are NOT the small ones with the rotating thumb-wheels. They are heavier-duty and larger, with a rocker switch. Some might be put off by the more clunky size, and by the fact that you have to strip one of the wires, wrapping it around screw-posts inside the switch. But as I was replacing one of those cheap old thumb-wheel ones that had ceased functioning, I appreciated that this is the more solid version – so much so that I ordered several more, to be ready for when the other cheap thumb-wheel ones I have around to house also die.
