A vintage Honda commercial featuring the teen actor!
did anyone else notice that? he only paid a few quarters for his gas
I love the look of that old film stock.
@twistyrider Where were those connections when I was looking for the Honda V-65 commercial with Jay Gleason 15 years ago and could not find it. Then around 2 years ago it ended up on youtube and I almost dropped over. Oh by the way this commercial is a great post.
was that Phill Hartman at
:50?
i had a 73 or 74 cb 350 i ran that bike very hard had over 20000 miles on it very good bike
I love that 1971 Plymouth Sport Suburban station wagon!
@mehlert52 That is what it looked like to me. I had a 1975 MT 125, Honda’s first street two-stroke.

“obvious creepy pedophile kidnapper” or just a guy with his kid? People sure are quick to assume the worst these days. Riding in the back of a wagon was very common back then. Somehow we all survived without the $200 car seats.
what model is that first motorcycle?
So the cops stops the obvious creepy pedophile kidnapper only to return the teddy bear, ignoring the fact that he has an unsecured child in the back and his shifty behavior? Damn, the 70s were interesting. That said, I wouldn’t mind having that John Travolta’s Honda.
Gotta love the kid just waving at the cop out of the back of the wagon, lol. Even more when you realize that no one watching it back then would have seen anything amiss.
the music gives me a headache
I thought we were the only family that did that only we were crammed in a Levi’s special edition Gremilin (moms can deny it either i got the photo)
I remember driving to the beach with my mom and her friends and all their kids packed into a station wagon. 5 adults, 13 kids, no seat belts. Those were the days.
You seem as biased as I am. However, your info is erroneous. Honda bikes are very easy to fix but that doesn’t matter because they are just as reliable. Honda is the maker of the first SUPERBIKE!! CB750!!!! Four in line Single Overhead Cam!!!! They also made the highest selling motorcycle of all time. OK, it was the Cub, but still, that’s a lot of motorcycles.
Hondas were voted the #1 bikes by Road and Track. Perhaps if Travolta ever gets bloated, tired, and loses his sense of individuality, he will be ready for a Harley. Personally, I would rather be riding than fixing my bike or looking for pieces that vibrated off .
wow!
is the guy in the station wagon Ron Jeremy’s dad ? lol
yeah…thats how it was….a coupla a quarters an ya gotta full tank……you could ride all dang day….lol sighhhhhh the 70’s….
He was just starting out and it was work. wonder what he got paid ? you do meet the nicest people on a honda
“Good things happen on a Honda ” hahaha
because they do have the egos of HD riders
My first bike was a Honda. It ran forever. Now I have a BMW 1200 gs that I wouldn’t give for any other bike.
