I don’t think it’s too technical, it’s just isn’t done well. You don’t even finish your statement about finding square with the 6-8-12 rule. How would anyone know how to find square by what you say in this video. Still thanks for the info, other parts are helpful.

If you measure out 6 feet in one direction and 8 feet in the other and then measure across between these two points what should that measurement be??
I’m watching this video, and you start the video throwing out technical terms that a do-it-yourselfer might not know. This is less than ideal.
